Varney Leaves DOJ For Cravath

Christine Varney announced Monday that she will step down from her post as head of the Justice Department's antitrust division in August. She will join Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.

WASHINGTON - Christine Varney announced Wednesday that she will step down from her post as head of the Justice Department's antitrust division in August. She will join the storied New York law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in September, a firm spokeswoman confirmed.
