Dewey Gets Name on Blackboard Deal

Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP advised education software company Blackboard Inc. in its $1.64 billion all-cash acquisition by Rhode Island-based Providence Equity Partners on Friday.

Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP advised education software company Blackboard Inc. in its $1.64 billion all-cash sale last week to Rhode Island-based Providence Equity Partners.


Silicon Valley partner Richard E. Climan led the team for Dewey that included Silicon Valley partner James R. Griffin.
