Justices Leave Overstock.com's Libel Lawsuit for Trial Judge
SAN FRANCISCO - The California Supreme Court on Wednesday chose not to wade into the messy feud between Overstock.com and the financial analysts whose negative reports helped trash the online retailer's stock.

The case likely will go back to Marin County Superior Court Judge Vernon F. Smith, who will decide whether the case can go to trial....
