Gordon & Rees' San Diego office scooped up Carlsbad-based intellectual-property boutique Murphey & Murphey Jan. 3. The acquisition brings five new attorneys to Gordon & Rees: partner Michael Murphey, of-counsel John Murphey and Peter Dean and associates Maha Sarah and Hani Sayed.
