Homeless Court Snaps Relapse Chain

LOS ANGELES - A hard-core drug habit escalated over 15 years to leave Pedro Miranda broke and homeless by October 2000. Powerless against his addictions to crack, speed and crystal methamphetamine, Miranda checked into the drug rehabilitation program at the Union Rescue Mission in downtown Los Angeles.
