Bill would allow State Bar to again make public bar exam passage list

State Sen. Hannah-Beth Jackson has introduced a bill that would permit the bar to resume disclosing information law schools say they need to comply with accreditation requirements.

State lawmakers are going to again consider a bill that would allow the State Bar to resume making public the names of those who pass the bar exam.

Sen. Hannah-Beth Jackson recently introduced SB 690, which would permit the bar to disclose the bar exam passage information that law school deans have said they need to comply with American Bar Association or state reporting requirements.
