State Bar accuses former LA city attorney of misconduct

Former Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen A. Trutanich is facing State Bar disciplinary charges based on allegations of misconduct as a prosecutor in a case that is more than three decades old.

The case stems from Trutanich's alleged actions in a murder trial when he was a Los Angeles deputy district attorney and a member of the office's gang unit.
