US judge indicates his ruling on Trump executive order would be narrow

A federal judge on Tuesday requested additional briefing on whether to issue a preliminary injunction preventing the president's immigration executive order from taking effect, and issued aseven-day extension on the current emergency injunction over the government's objection.
