Law school deans petition California Supreme Court for easier exam

The deans say the higher cut score is to blame for sagging bar exam passage rates.

A coalition of California's American Bar Association-accredited law schools petitioned the state Supreme Court to adjust the State Bar's scoring methods Wednesday, arguing that the state has the nation's lowest bar passage rate because of its stricter scoring methods.
