American Apparel lawsuits outlast American Apparel

As the company folds, employment claims can still be pursued against the company's insurer.

When American Apparel Inc, ousted Dov Charney, the company's founder and CEO vowed to "fight like hell" to reclaim the clothing manufacturer and retailer.

That fight turned out to include a litigation avalanche in which Charney's personal lawyer, Keith Fink, filed numerous lawsuits on behalf of Charney and his allies at American Apparel.
