Lawyer Excelled At Handling Difficult Issues

LOS ANGELES - Suzanne Janis DeRosa, an appellate specialist with the medical malpractice defense firm of Schmid & Voiles, whose passion for the law was known by friends and colleagues alike, has died. She was 62.

DeRosa died Friday at her Studio City home after a 2-year battle with cancer.
