William L. Cathey 1948 - 2009

William L. Cathey, a longtime corporate lawyer at Munger, Tolles & Olson who counseled the nation's largest banks and was a hard-core North Carolina basketball fan, died Saturday after a brief battle with lung cancer. He was 61.
