WASHINGTON - Acting to prevent the names of people opposed to a same-sex partnership law in Washington state from being revealed, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a temporary stay of a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling Tuesday.
Voters in Washington are due to vote on Referendum 71, which would repeal the partnership law, in next month's elections.
