M & A: LIFEGUARD JOINS THE RANKS OF BLUE SHIELD
Blue Shield of California will acquire Lifeguard Inc. The deal was announced May 30. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Lifeguard will become a subsidiary of Blue Shield and will continue to operate independently.
