Circuit Gives Europeans Discovery Access
SAN FRANCISCO - In a major interpretation of international discovery rights, a federal appeals court ruled Thursday for the first time that U.S. companies can be forced to turn over discovery material to European antitrust investigators based on an inquiry sparked by a complaint from a competitor.
