Police Union Readies Lawsuit Against Cooley's 'Brady' Policy

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Police Protective League is preparing to sue District Attorney Steve Cooley over his new " Brady policy," which allows additional information on police officers involved in criminal cases to be turned over to the defense, the union's lawyer said.
