MADRID FIRM BUYS MAJOR STAKE IN MEXICO'S PEGASO
Telefnica Mviles has agreed to acquire a 65 percent stake in Pegaso Telecomunicaciones from existing shareholders, including Leap Wireless International Inc. and Sprint Corp. The deal, announced May 17, is worth $1.36 billion.
