State Bar approves new ethics rules

The package of 70 new and amended rules, covering topics such as discrimination and sex with clients, will now move on to the state Supreme Court for approval.

The State Bar's board voted Thursday to send a final package of 70 new or amended Rules of Professional Conduct to the state Supreme Court, seeking approval for the first rules changes in 30 years.
