Lawyer sentenced for role in hospital kickback scheme

An Orange County lawyer must spend six months in a halfway house and six months on home confinement for paying kickbacks to advise Huntington Memorial Hospital during a construction project, a federal judge ruled Monday.

SANTA ANA - An Orange County lawyer must spend six months in a halfway house and six months on home confinement for paying kickbacks to advise Pasadena's Huntington Memorial Hospital during a construction project, a federal judge decided Monday.
