USF Law School announces new dean

The University of San Francisco Law School will have a new dean in June when John Trasvina, assistant secretary for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, takes over.

SAN FRANCISCO - The University of San Francisco has hired John Trasvina, assistant secretary for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, as its new law school dean.


Trasvina will take over June 17 from Dean Jeffrey S. Brand, who plans to return to teaching, the school announced Friday.
