LA plaintiffs' firm accused of ripping off clients loses bid to force arbitration

One of California's largest plaintiffs' firms lost its bid Friday to force arbitration in a San Francisco County Superior Court class action alleging the firm tried to filch $5.5 million in a settlement it procured for 600 of its clients.
