SEC files charges over Victorville city bonds

The Securities and Exchange Commission filed charges Monday against the city of Victorville, an investment banking firm and others who allegedly defrauded bondholders by inflating the value of property in order to secure a 2008 municipal bond offering.

The Securities and Exchange Commission filed charges Monday against the city of Victorville, an investment banking firm and others who allegedly defrauded bondholders by inflating the value of property in order to secure a 2008 municipal bond offering.
