Shearman, Bingham aid in $340 million Honeywell deal

Shearman & Sterling LLP represented RAE Systems Inc. and Vector Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, in RAE's $340 million sale Tuesday to Honeywell International Inc., which had counsel from Bingham McCutchen LLP.

Shearman & Sterling LLP represented San Jose-based RAE Systems Inc. and Vector Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, in RAE's $340 million sale Tuesday to Honeywell International Inc.


RAE Systems, taken private by Vector Capital in 2011, provides gas detection systems to corporations and government agencies.
