Ex-South Gate city treasurer wins honest-services fraud reversal

A federal appellate court on Monday reversed a slew of corruption convictions against the former city treasurer of South Gate, citing a 2010 U.S. Supreme Court decision narrowing what constitutes "honest-services fraud."
