Bill Stops Taxing of Fees in Bias-Cases Awards

WASHINGTON - Individuals who win or settle discrimination cases no longer will have to pay taxes on the portions of their awards that cover attorney fees and court costs, thanks to a provision in a corporate tax bill passed by Congress.
