Bush Appoints Ann Veneman To His Cabinet
LOS ANGELES - President-elect George W. Bush named Ann Veneman, Nossaman Guthner Knox & Elliott government and agricultural partner, as secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Wednesday. Veneman will be the first woman to serve as the nation's secretary of agriculture.
