Circuit: Product Safety Act Doesn't Preclude State Suit
SAN FRANCISCO - Federal consumer product safety law does not preempt state common law for individuals injured by allegedly faulty products, a federal appeals court ruled Tuesday in reinstating the suit by a San Diego area man who slashed his arm on a shower door.
