Report highlights strongest year for IPOs in more than a decade

The market for initial public offerings in 2014 had its strongest showing in more than a decade, according to a new report from professional services and accounting firm Ernst & Young.
The report revealed that U.S. markets raised a total of $95.2 billion on 288 IPOs, the highest level of activity by deal volume and value since 2001.
