Survey: in-house legal spending to slow
Companies are predicting flat or lowered legal spending this year in what may be a sign that increasingly sophisticated cost management programs are paying off.

In a break from a five-year trend, many companies are not forecasting an increase in legal spending in the coming year, according to a report released this week by management consultancy Huron Consulting Group Inc. and in-house best practices community the General Counsel Forum.
