Locke Lord and Edwards Wildman partners vote to merge

Leaders at Locke Lord LLP and Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP announced Monday their partnerships had approved the planned merger of the two firms effective Jan. 10, creating a firm with roughly 1,000 attorneys in 23 offices.

The planned merger of Locke Lord LLP and Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP will create Locke Lord Edwards LLP, a firm with roughly 1,000 attorneys in 23 offices, but adding Edwards's two small California offices to Locke Lord's three will still leave the combined firm with a limited presence in the state.
