Average compensation up across the board for in-house lawyers, report says

Base salary for in-house counsel is up an average of 3 percent and total cash compensation is up an average of 5 percent, according to a recent survey.

Overall compensation for U.S. corporate counsel spiked more than 6 percent this year after climbing a little over 4 percent last year, according to a recent report.
