Legal jobs nationwide tick up by just 300 in October

In California, the legal industry lost nearly 2,600 in September from a month earlier, according to the latest data available.

The legal services industry added about 300 jobs across the nation in October, marking a slight rebound after 4,000 jobs were lost between August and September, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. In California, the legal industry lost nearly 2,600 in September from a month earlier, according to the latest data from the California Employment Development Department.
