Landau League all-star games competetive affairs
The Landau Lawyers League held it's 9th annual Fall basketball all-star games and 5th annual skills challenges last Thursday at the Edward Roybal Learning Center gym. Two all-star games and two skills challenges were held. In the first game, the Clippers edged the Lakers 54 to 52 with Mohammad Tajsar representing the Federal Defenders winning MVP honors after scoring 14 points. In the second all-star game, the Bruins knocked off the Trojans 66 to 59 in another close contest. DougLawson representing Baker & Hostetler LLP took home MVP honors in the nightcap after he also scored 14 points. In the skills challenges, Nathan Johnson and Timothy Najera, both of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP, found themselves tied atop the leader board and shared the winners circle for the first competition. John Park, representing Yoka & Smith LLP, won the second skill challenge.
