In one of Edelman's more public cases in the past few years, he represented CBS in a challenge to the development of an ABC reality show called "The Glass House." CBS sued for copyright and trade secret misappropriation, alleging that the new show has significant similarities to its own long-running reality series "Big Brother."


CBS ended up losing on the copyright claim. The court ruled that reality shows couldn't be copied.
