FCC reinforces all fax ads need opt-out notices

The Federal Communications Commission ruled it had the authority to amend a law mandating companies to tell consumers how to stop receiving unsolicited advertisements via fax

Despite loud protests by the health care industry over its statutory authority to alter a communications law, the Federal Communications Commission has moved forward with reinforcing opt-out notices on solicited fax advertisements.
