In what might be the final battle over open source software, a Nevada jury ruled Tuesday that Novell Inc. owns all Unix copyrights, striking a blow to Utah-based SCO Group, which asserted that it had been transferred the ownership. The verdict is a victory for Morrison & Foerster partner Michael Jacobs, who represented Novell during the trial.
