Tucker Moves One Step Closer

The Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday approved the nomination of Orange County Superior Court Judge Josephine S. Tucker to be a judge in the California's Central District.

WASHINGTON - The Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday approved the nomination of Orange County Superior Court Judge Josephine S. Tucker to be a judge in the California's Central District.

Tucker awaits Senate confirmation for the Santa Ana-based seat that opened when former Chief U.S. District Judge Alicemarie H. Stotler took senior status in Janurary 2009.
