An affordable housing advocacy group prevailed in a Bay Area state court when the judge ruled that Pleasanton's housing cap violates state law.

Alameda County Superior Court Judge Frank Roesch ordered in his decision, released late Friday, that the city must complete its state-required rezoning to meet its share of the region's affordable housing.
