Ex-Partner Must Pony Up Promised Cut to Firm
LOS ANGELES - A lawyer who signed a partnership agreement promising to pay his firm a percentage of the business generated by clients he took with him when he left is legally obligated to honor that pledge, a state appellate panel has ruled.
