Jury Awards Pilot $12.5 Million In Wrongful Termination Case
LOS ANGELES - A North American Airlines captain won more than $12.5 million in a wrongful termination case out of Oakland. Randall Otto was flying a Boeing 757 from Hawaii to Oakland on Aug. 12, 2003, when the airplane's nose tilted down so much that Otto, the co-pilot, had to hold the wheel with two hands.
