Panel Upholds $19,000 Fine Against Former Blake Lawyer

LOS ANGELES - The 2nd District Court of Appeal on Tuesday upheld an $18,950 court-ordered fine against attorney Thomas A. Mesereau Jr. for calling the lawyer suing his former client, Robert Blake, a "phony" and referring to the jailhouse deposition he was taking as a "circus."
