On Third Appeal, 9th Circuit Panel Allows Light Sentence
SAN FRANCISCO - For the third time, a federal appeals court Friday rebuffed prosecutors' attempt to increase the sentence of a former administrative employee of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Los Angeles after she embezzled almost half a million dollars on government credit cards.
