Panel Mulls Forcing Judge to Retire

LOS ANGELES - The Commission on Judicial Performance started formal proceedings Wednesday against Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Rodney E. Nelson to determine whether he should be forced to retire because of a "degenerative brain disease" he suffers.
