Brawley Commissioner Watches Out for Kids

EL CENTRO - It was a conundrum for the Imperial County Superior Court judges. Federal law required that the court hire a child-support commissioner. But the caseload called only for a part-time commissioner. Where were they going to find a lawyer willing to forsake the practice of law and accept a two-day-a-week assignment?
