Thanks for Reminder Of What's Being Lost

Letter to the Editor - I was very impressed with Stephen F. Rohde's article "Count Your Blessings: An Open Letter to Ex-'Combatant' Padilla" (Nov. 29 Daily Journal). It was a cogently and cleverly presented reminder that our time-honored notion of individual rights and due process, as a paramount value in our society, is being rapidly eroded.
