Editorial Misstates Facts About 9th Circuit - Again

Forum Column - By Patrick Cathcart - A recent newspaper editorial touting the supposed virtues of splitting up the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals accuses the court of a pro-California bias. That the Walla Walla Union Bulletin would not, however, describe any sense in which the 9th Circuit has indeed "played favorites" with California is indicative of the shortsighted reasoning and mischaracterization of facts on which the piece is predicated.
