Decisions Show Sharp Divide Among Justices

WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court's 2000-2001 term will be remembered mainly for the justices' unsigned 5-4 decision last Dec. 12 in Bush v. Gore, 2000 Daily Journal D.A.R. 13163 (U.S. Dec. 12, 2000), which effectively handed the presidency to George W. Bush.
