SACRAMENTO - Gov. Jerry Brown on Friday appointed 12 judges to the Alameda, San Francisco, Tulare, Los Angeles and San Diego superior courts.
In Alameda County, 55-year-old James. P. Cramer, an assistant public defender in Alameda and a Democrat, will fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Joan S. Cartwright.
