SAN FRANCISCO - Celebrity defense attorney Brian Oxman has received two years of probation for filing a frivolous civil rights claim in a divorce case he handled.
As part of a stipulation between Oxman and State Bar prosecutors, which became effective Jan. 21, the Santa Fe Springs attorney will also receive two years stayed suspension and must attend ethics school.
