Panel Makes Oakland Officials' Salaries Public
SAN FRANCISCO - The city of Oakland doesn't want you to know that Chief Assistant City Attorney Randolph W. Hall made $181,729 last year. But Hall's earnings, and those of all other city employees with salaries of more than $100,000, are valid public knowledge, a 1st District Court of Appeal panel has declared.
